授業内容と方法
The purpose of this lecture is to introduce and explain the most advanced concepts, methods, detailed technologies and social effects of various engineering fields. They cover 7 programs of the department of the Faculty of Engineering, that is, Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Environment, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture and Building Engineering, and Computer Science and Intelligent Systems. 14 instructors from 7 programs provide students with lectures in turn.
The official language on the subject is English. All the lectures and discussions are spoken in English. This is a united subject with URSEP.

In this lecture, we provide students with in-person class.
The students who satisfy either of the following conditions may take on-line class:

達成目標
Final destination of this lecture is to understand what the frontiers of engineering are and what the most advanced systems in various engineering fields are. Each class has a special topic by an instructor as an expert of a certain field of engineering and each class has its own purpose and destination. Students must grasp the purpose and the destination of each class from the lecture by themselves. How much you can understand is the real result of the lecture. (Speciality, locality and internationality, Communication skill)

評価基準と評価方法
The total result of the subject is calculated from the result of each class, normally it is an average of all the classes. The result of each class is estimated by the instructor and the method to measure the result in each class is decided by the instructor. Normally, it is necessary to attend the class, and your comments and discussions are treated as additional points. All the results are marked at percentage and the final results are graded as follows: Grade A: 100-90%, B: 89-80%, C: 79-70%, D: 69-60%, and F: less than 60%.
